HISTORY

Gallery Sakai was established in 1996 as a gallery specializing in French paintings, located on Namiki Avenue in Ginza, Tokyo.
Based on our expertise and extensive experience in the art field,
we have carefully selected and purchased important paintings and sculptures primarily from Paris, London, and New York, introducing them to collectors around the world from Tokyo.
We have built a solid reputation, with a collection of over 800 works.

After 30 years since our founding, Gallery Sakai has relocated to Karuizawa, one of Japan's premier resort areas. Surrounded by rich greenery, we will showcase even more beautiful works and provide a space for everyone to enjoy.
